challenge cup

Marwan Koukash today announced free travel for all supporters wishing to go to the crucial 4th round challenge cup tie away at Hull FC on  3rd April 2014 as a gesture of good will to the Devils fans.

“We were extremely unhappy when the RFL rejected our call to play the game on an alternative date because we knew how difficult this would make it for our fans making the long trip to Hull on a Thursday evening. We always made it clear that we were against the staging of games on a Thursday night and now our fans have been hit hardest of any Club in the league through having to play 4 Thursday games. This is a vital game in our season and we want as many of our fans to be there at the start of what we hope will be a very successful campaign in the Challenge Cup.”

Koukash joked “If we can take a large army of Red Devils to the KC Stadium that night, I genuinely hope they can be like a 14th man for the team on the night, hopefully we won’t get fined this time around for having too many players!”

The Free coach travel offer is available for all fans buying match tickets through the Club. PLEASE NOTE: Tickets have not yet arrived from Hull and we will update supporters as soon as they do. They will then be able to be purchased at the Ticket Office or on 0161 8202610

The free travel commitment will be on a first come first served basis so fans are encouraged to take up the offer as quickly as possible once tickets have arrived.
